Lincoln Park ~ 5/2/09

The whole family participated in the PanCan Walk in Lincoln Park. We walked around the park and then got to visit animals at the zoo.

Spring Break 2009

We took a Spring Break trip to Okaloosa Island, Florida. It is between Destin and Fort Walton Beach in the panhandle. The kids had a great time swimming and walking on the beach. When we had a rainy day we went to Build-a-Bear to make new friends and went to the movie theater to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D.

Museum Trip ~ 2/16/09

We took our first trip to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The kids thought it was neat to drive down to the city and park underground. We saw an Omnimax movie about the ocean and went on the coal mine ride. They got to see what a real United airplane looks like on the inside and relaxed for a few minutes in the seats. They can't wait to go back to the museum and see what is new the next time!

Winter in the Dells ~ January 2009

We decided to take a quick trip to the Dells over break. We stayed at the Wilderness where the kids swam and swam. They really loved the giant wavepool! We also went a round at the new indoor mini golf course. It was a pirate themed, 3-D blacklight experience.

1st Place Wildcats

Julia's squad placed 1st at the state competition at the Sears Center.
They competeed in teh 4th grade division and did a great job!

American Girl ~ December 30, 2008

Julia had her first trip to the American Girl store in Chicago. She had a great time looking at all the dolls, clothes and accessories. She took Elizabeth and Molly to the salon to get their hair done. She even had their picture taken for her very own magazine cover. It was a sunny day downtown so we all walked down Michigan Avenue to the Lego store where Joshua got a couple sets.

Christmas

Christmas was a great time for all! We had lots of fun visiting everyone and opening gifts!

Joshua's 6th Birthday

The theme was Clone Wars...we love all things Star Wars. We even names both dogs after characters! A great time was had by all...just take a look at his face!

1st Snow of the Fall

The kids couldn't wait to get out and run around. They made snowballs and ate flakes.

Halloween Fun!

The kids had a great time on such an unseasonably warm Halloween night. They were a Renaissance princess and a Clone Trooper. They ran in to friends from this school and the last. We we out trick-or-treating for 3 1/2 hours and had probably 2 paper grocery sacks full of candy. We had to unload halfway so that they could keep going...

Wildcat Competition

Julia's cheerleading squad competed at Conant HS this past Saturday, October 25th.

They placed 2nd in their division and earned enough points to advance to the state finals.

They are the first Wildcat cheerleading squad to qualify for state!

They will compete on December 13th at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates.

They also have an exhibition performance this coming Saturday, November 1st, at ECC.

Brownie Hayride

Julia's Brownie troop went to visit Tom's. The whole family went along. We went on a hayride to pick pumpkins and gourds. We played in the jumping houses, walked the corn maze, and took some pictures with the decorations. We finished off the evening with apple cider and doughnuts in the greenhouse.

J4 Eadler Family

Justin, Jennifer, Julia and Joshua.
Julia and Joshua attend Gilberts Elementary School this year.
Julia (7) is in 2nd grade and Joshua (5 1/2) is in Kindergarten.

Both really like their teachers and enjoy all the new activities.
